FOUNDER'S LETTER

Marcelli Kanschik is an independent artist based in Frankfurt, Germany. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in a family with Italian roots, she carries a rich cultural heritage that deeply influences her artistic vision.

In 2021, she founded BLOMÊH, an art company that brings together European elegance and Brazilian soul, translating this unique blend into art and design. Inspired by the timeless spirit of Bossa Nova, BLOMÊH embodies elegance, confidence, and a sense of enduring beauty.

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Marcelli was instilled with the ambition to create something truly her own. Founding BLOMÊH was not just the realization of a lifelong dream but also the beginning of a profound journey of self-discovery.

As an artist, Marcelli is highly visual and intuitive, allowing emotion to guide her creative process. Her work is characterized by organic forms, a language of softness that is also materially robust. Through her art, she invites people to experience the world through form, texture, and color, staging the fleeting moments of life as objects of beauty.

Every BLOMÊH painting and ceramic piece is meticulously planned and crafted by Marcelli herself. Her jewelry designs, created with precision and care, are produced in collaboration with a trusted German partner specializing in fine materials. Quality and sustainability are at the core of BLOMÊH, ensuring that every piece reflects excellence and responsibility.

MY INFLUENCES

I have always been passionate about "l`Univers de la Mode" and art, to which my family is also strongly tied.

My greatest influence and source of inspiration are flora and fauna. Nature inspires me with its infinite forms, objects, and colors. It gives me the necessary peace of mind which precedes creativity. Another thing I love is and which influences me a lot is the ocean and travelling. I had the opportunity to see the beauty of many places and took a small piece of each of them with me.

For that reason, I love art. Art is capable to create new forms and textures beyond our daily lives and routines. As an artist, I let my imagination wander. This is crucial to observe and create.

It’s important to observe the buildings blocks of your world correctly and apply them in different creations, objects and canvases. The only rule I have is to maintain Blomêh’s visual identity.
